Featured Project: Realistic Parenting
Parents learn as their children grow and have as many years experience as their oldest child. There is insight to be gained from those more experienced and the experiences of others.
As a parent of two I embarked on this project to learn from other parents and find commonalities in the experience beyond the idealized or satirical. Research consisted of in person interviews and a short questionnaire.
The age of the children (or years of parental experience) ranged from 18 months to 41 years. The following five insights were distilled from the research and reflect on the reality of parenting children of all ages.
