  • Whenever I ask about their kids they say they are doing great. I told them I feel so alone because I have these lists of things I worry about and they said — wait, wait, wait, we have a list! There is this veneer that people put up.

  • When I started talking to people about my daughter so many parents were having the same challenges. No one wants to talk about the bad stuff. No one says we are struggling. And I feel that should be more of the dialogue.
